Plot for the movie:

For Robbing the Dead is a story set in 1862 Salt Lake City about a law officer named Henry Heath who must care for an imprisoned French immigrant named Jean Baptiste who is convicted of robbing graves. Despite initial resentment, Heath finds compassion for Baptiste and becomes his protector against the harsh conditions of Antelope Island and the judgment of the community.
