Movie Plot:

Romulus, a gas station attendant, reunites with his friend Horace and they run away together to escape their mundane lives. Along the way, they meet a girl named Candida and Romulus fakes his death after a bet with a storyteller. Horace ends up marrying his friend’s wealthy wife after mistakenly believing he is dead.
