In 1863, Texas Ranger Todd Croyden and Union spy Whitney Randolph enter Mexico to investigate a power struggle between Maximilian and Benito Juarez. They meet General Liguras and Madeline, who is linked to the manipulative Basil Danzeeger. Croyden and Madeline fall for each other, but soon Croyden finds himself caught in the middle of Danzeeger’s plot against him.
