Movie Plot:

Owen Merrill, an engineer for the Northern Power Company, plans to survey the Muskalala River for a potential dam site. However, when the owner of the river’s fishing preserve, Heather McHale, finds out, she takes action to stop the project. After a series of miscommunications and conflicts, it is eventually revealed that the power company plans to build “fish-ladders” to ensure the salmon can still spawn and stay in the river, leading to a happy resolution for all parties involved
