Movie Plot:

The plot follows two best friends, Sonny and Duane, in the small town of Anarene, Texas as they navigate coming of age in the aftermath of World War Two. They are torn between the dying town they grew up in and the possibility of leaving to make a better life. The closure of the town’s movie house marks the end of their youth and the start of an uncertain future.
