Movie Plot:

The Mountain Runners is a film that tells the story of America’s first mountain endurance/adventure foot race in Bellingham, Washington in 1911. The race, which covered 28 to 32 miles to the summit of Mount Baker and back, was extremely challenging and only lasted three years before being discontinued. The film uses a docudrama style and includes vintage images and footage to bring this historic event to life.
