Movie Plot:

The plot centers around the Hungarian Communists aiding the Russian Bolsheviks in their defeat of the White Czarists in 1919. The story follows the conflict between the two sides as they clash near a monastery and field hospital, with brutal executions and chaos. The changing allegiances and senseless violence ultimately lead to the overwhelming defeat of the White soldiers by the enthusiastic Red soldiers.
