Movie Plot:

Based on the life of St. Edith Stein, a German nun of Jewish descent who converted to Catholicism, this movie tells of her academic career and feud with a right-wing professor before she became a nun. However, she faced persecution during World War II when the professor, who had become a Nazi official, had her deported to Auschwitz.
