Movie Plot:

During 1930’s China, a poor family’s village is occupied by the Japanese army, causing two brothers to take different paths to protect their family. While one joins the Chinese Army and experiences a life of luxury in a nearby town, the other hides to protect their struggling loved ones. The story contrasts the fortunes of the two brothers and their families in the midst of war.
