Movie Plot:

This plot is a reconstruction of the uncut prologue of Eisenstein’s Ivan the Terrible, including scenes with gunners Foma and Erema and a fragment featuring the German knight Heinrich von Staden. It also includes commentary written and spoken by Naum Kleiman and incorporates stills and newsreel footage. The Criterion DVD version is 33 minutes, but there is a longer version available.
