Movie Plot:

The story follows Ricardo, an 11-year-old in 1981 who becomes obsessed with material possessions to impress his new classmates in a higher class suburban neighborhood. He lies and changes himself to fit in with his group and impress his crush, Anne. However, two events with his parents change his perspective on life and make him realize that his crush was not who he thought she was.
