Movie Plot:

Cesare Botero, a corrupt minister, hires Prof. Luciano Sandulli to write his speeches and becomes a mentor to him. At first, Sandulli is optimistic and believes Botero wants to make real changes, but he soon realizes the world of politics is full of corruption and he must choose between staying and fighting or returning to his former life.
