Movie Plot:

Madame Bodamere remarries an American and leaves her daughter Jeanne behind with the child’s nurse, who lies and tells the mother that the child is dead. Years later, Jeanne goes to America, takes in two orphans, and goes to work as a maid for her unknowing mother, causing tension in her mother’s marriage.
