Plot for the movie:

J.C. Aldridge is trying to monopolize the Christmas tree market by buying out his competitors, including retired movie star Jack Holt. However, his foreman is sabotaging Holt’s operations without Aldridge’s knowledge. When there is a murder and Aldridge arrives to investigate, he takes a job as a tree cutter while Roy works to help Holt bring his trees to market.
