Movie Plot:

Juan Pérez, the poorest man in the country, becomes famous after a failed suicide attempt to protest against the government. The Ministry of Economy rewards him, but when others try to imitate his actions, the government declares poverty a crime and Juan ultimately ends up back in his previous social condition. However, he is determined to never go back to poverty and will do whatever it takes to improve his life.
