Movie Plot:

In 1955 Munich, a sports journalist meets a fading actress named Veronika Voss who is being kept by her doctor, who supplies her with everything she needs including her favorite drug, morphine. The journalist becomes suspicious when he witnesses Voss struggling to perform a simple scene and suspects that something is not right with her doctor.
