Movie Plot:

The plot follows the experiences of two Canadian First Nations children, Glen Anaquod and Lyna Hart, who were forced to attend government-funded schools run by various Christian faiths from 1866 to 1996. These schools were part of a larger assimilation program aimed at erasing their culture and integrating them into Canadian society, and the children endured physical and emotional abuse as a result.
