Movie Plot:

Jacob, a farmer, asks the baron for a plot of land to rent upon returning from the war. The baron grants the request, but the land given is barren and rocky. When the baron demands for Maria (Jacob’s wife) to become a wet nurse for his daughter’s baby or face eviction, the couple must face difficult decisions.
