Plot for the movie:

A traveler from Paris named Dufresne falls in love with a singer named Zaza and misses his return train to spend the night with her. Zaza discovers that Dufresne has a secret wife and child and ends their relationship, focusing instead on her career as a singer. Years later, Dufresne attends one of Zaza’s performances where she sings a song about their forbidden love, causing him to leave and never see her again.
